New Book- New Faces
I’ve been asked to write a book about Holocaust survivors. I am able to choose my survivors. I have picked people I have had much contact with.
The Gelbarts are making their debut in being written about (even though Rose has been written about before, but Arthur has not). Rose and Arthur are married .I can’t wait to tell their story.
Halina Peabody is also making her debut in being written about. She was featured in my article for the Signal, but now, she’s going to be part of my book and I’m really excited to share her story. She got my letter and she was very excited about being in a book, I hope to have this book out soon, like really soon!
Ruth Steinfeld is a new survivor I’ve come across. She’s been such a joy to contact and work with and I’m very excited to finally meet her when she comes to the museum!
Felicitas, who you probably know of by now, is also being featured in this book. She’s been featured in two of my books. One she and her brother Otto was mentioned. Another, was a biography on her and her family. (Behind the Words, coming soon!)
Chava is being written about yet again. I write about Chava and Petr all the time. This will be Chava’s second time being written in one of my books, she’s been mentioned in three or four books so far (at least ones I can find!)
Renee’s making another appearance in my book. Renee was spoken about in my latest book, Among the Many. I can’t wait to write about Renee again.
My sweetest and dearest Holocaust survivor friend, Peter Feigl is being written about, and I will include so much personal things that I have been wanting to say for a while. He’s the best and I love him so much!
This book is being written now, between waiting to publish my Wolf Book
