The Fight For The Youth
It’s hard to describe what has been happening in the last couple of months. Florida is turning into Nazi Germany (and you can get mad at me, but you know it’s true), states are taking away Trans Youth’s rights, as well as banning drag shows and pride, and let me tell you something, if Tomas Kulka were here, he’d tell you this is nothing new.
What does this mean now? As a Jewish woman, and as a Holocaust Teen/Child and Diary historian, I’m angry and mad and not to mention upset. What have these Trans kids done to make them be such a target?
Of course, there are people like DeSantis or Marjorie Taylor Greene who will lie and say that the Trans are indoctornating the youth. What? It’s like when the Jewish teens and children were not allowed to visit Christian neighbors and friends, because of shit like this. To me, sometimes, kids see what’s going on. It’s nothing kept secrets, people know what’s happening. Unlike then, the Jewish teens and children who were murdered simply for what they were, now they are seeing what the Trans youth are going through. I will tell you that these Jewish teens and children who were indeed murdered they see it all, and they are angry and upset. These politicians, you should ask them how many Jewish teens and children that were murdered in the Holocaust. I bet you they couldn’t tell you the exact number, because it is a lot. 1.5 Million of them were killed, and that’s just scrapping the surface. Could they name any child (besides Anne Frank of course, who of course is under attack by lawmakers), who died in the Holocaust? I can name a lot of them and I’m still learning a lot of their names. The most interesting thing about it, is that you get to learn their names and sometimes, see what they look like. But I think maybe you’ll be surprised at what ages these kids and teens were murdered at. Tomas was 7. Yeah 7! Only 7! It’s hard to imagine what kind of monsters would kill such an innocent child. But, here’s the thing, the monsters who are trying to hurt the trans kids, are people just like these politicians and just like you. Just because the Holocaust happened over 80 years ago, doesn’t mean that some of it has been leaking into now, except, instead of Jews, it’s the LGBTQ Youth and adults. It’s the Drag community, it’s everyone that isn’t “Christian, and Heterosexual or Male.”
The extremists have come out of the woodworks, they’re not even hiding it anymore.
My anger is great. I am so fed up with these anti-trans laws. Jews had that happen to them too, it was called The Nuremberg Laws. I don’t think any of these Politicians know what the Holocaust is, because they’re too busy banning books about it in classrooms. They’re trying to erase certain people from history and to people like me, that doesn’t fly with me.
As someone who learned about the Holocaust when she was real young, I am trying to make sure that what happened to the Jews, don’t happen to the LGBTQ. I’m trying to make sure that we don’t get to that point. We’re not late yet, but we’re getting there. There’s not enough politicians fighting for these youths, and it seems that the Democrats are trying, but they’re not doing enough. Overstep bounds, fight for what’s right. Break the rules, and say “This is not OK!”
The difference between then and now, is that you’re going to have a lot of Pissed off Youth, who are going to be voting in the next year’s election for the first time and they’ll vote you right out of your seat. They’ll vote for what matters to them. But politicians always lie. They’ll do everything they can to make sure they win. But they didn’t? But when the candidate does win- the opposite will throw a hissy fit and say “No, we won!”
No you didn’t, that’s just logic you idiots.
The same people who are offended by a trans woman on the can of a beer, are the same people who are trying to get rid of Anne Frank as a whole. Newsflash, you can’t, she existed, and she died FOR YOU. She died because of shit like this. She died because there were not enough people to fight for her. Now, she’s at risk, and especially Florida, (gross), who want to become a dictatorship, Anne is screaming and yelling. There are so many countries in the world who cannot understand why Anne Frank is being taken out of schools, when her story is important?
Why try to erase these 1.5 million Jewish teens and children, when they’re already trying to erase the Trans youth. You can’t. They are who they are, just like the Jewish teens and children were who they were.
If you don’t think this is an issue, then you’re part of the problem. These kids need us, and they need our help protecting them, fighting for them, doing what’s right. It’s hard enough to try to fight for the ones who aren’t here anymore, but it shouldn’t be hard to fight for the ones here.
