What Am I Doing?

What the hell am I doing with my life? I’m autistic, I have a pretty good job, a great husband and great dog. For me, I am always upset. I’m angry. I’m angry the world is shit. I’m angry that countries can’t get their shit together.

I’m angry that there is terrorism and people subscribe to it.

I’m angry that there is racism, and it’s disgusting and so are the sons of bitches that subscribe to it.

I’m angry that a woman can’t chose to do what she needs to do with her body.

I’m angry that the Youth can’t feel safe or that we can’t keep them safe.

What the hell am I doing? What difference do I even make? No listens to me, no one ever does.

“Stop overreacting! Stop being dramatic!” Is people tell me. But when I cry, or have a meltdown, that’s also looked at as being “dramatic”.

I’m so confused, on why that every year, seems to get worse, instead of better.

Whenever I try to express myself or try to get people to listen to some goddamn logic, I am usually met with comments that are not great.

“You don’t know what you’re talking about!”

That’s the one I usually get. ..

So, as an autistic woman- YOU TELL ME THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS! I know YOU MUST HAVE THE ANSWERS!

• Why do people fight?
• Why do wars happen?
• Why don’t we fight against Terrorism? Why do we let go on as much as we do?
• Why do we have to shove God down people down people’s throats?
• Why can’t we let women chose what they need to do for their health or their bodies?
• Why do we let men make more than women?
• Why did we accept slavery? Why did it take so long to stop it?
• Why did we hurt our African -American friends? Why did it take so long for them to be “equal” (though if you ask them, they’re still fighting for their rights!- and I would agree)
• Why do people think that they can just invade countries — just because they want to?
• Why do countries feel like they can make laws against certian groups of people?
• Why are men allowed to think they own the world?
• Why can’t women be women?
• Why can’t we have normal political figures, not these NUT CASES?
• Why can’t the LGBTQ people just be left alone or accepted?
• WHY CAN’T WE HELP EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF BEING IDIOTS?
